General non-ferrous metals including Nonferrous alloys. Non ferrous alloy is a nonferrous metal base (usually greater than 50%), joining alloy consisting of one or more other elements.

Non-ferrous metals usually refers to removing iron (sometimes also removing of manganese and chromium) and all metals except iron base alloys. Non-ferrous metals can be classified as heavy metals (such as copper, lead, zinc), light metals (aluminum, magnesium), precious metals (such as gold, silver, Platinum) and precious metals (for example, lanthanum, lithium, tungsten, molybdenum, germanium and uranium).
